Hunting/Camping trip in Indian Peaks.

We have been spending the last several weekends hunting/camping. And I have to admit that I absolutely LOVE IT! I know- most people even hate the thought, But to me, they are experiences that you remember the most. Seriously, who remembers sitting around watching t.v. or cleaning the house while everybody is gone? It's so grate to watch the kids play and build hut's and catch lizards and have camp fires!
We went with our awesome friends, and had a great time cooking and eating. There is ALWAYS so much food when you camp, why is that?
One of my favorite things to do is wait for the boys to come back from hungting late at night, when they come back all dirty and in their camo (so cute!) and they eat like they are starving as they share their stories about their encounters. I love to just sit there wacthing them and enjoying being a part of that experience, specially for the younger kids, Jared and Mike as they are learning and enjoying their hobby. Someday, I can atleast think back at these times when they are all grown up and hunting with their own children and remember how much I enjoyed being with them!
I have to say, this was Mike's first year and My sweetie has thought him so much when it comes to hunting! He is SO good with his bow, as you can tell he was the first one to get his frist cow, shot from 45 yrds! Great job Mike!!!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!! YEE-PEE!!!

I know, i'm making that sound like i'm throwing a party! This is exciting because the kids like their new schools and teachers which makes it so great. Back to school was something that I was looking forward to, but once it happened, I realized that it was very lonely around here and my husband and I were so sad for the first few days, missing all these guys! Jared is the only one missing in action, I have yet to take his picture since he is "Mr.license to drive" and he is in and out of here faster than I can keep track of! Man this driving teenage thing is a new for me!
BTW-I'm not so lonely anymore ;0). It has been nice to have lunch with my sweetheart just about everyday, and getting back on track with my to do lists! Gotta love school.

Our Missy!

This is our missy, she sure has grown. I think that cats are the best pets to have, She loves to watch the kids playing outside on the front lawn. she is just so darn cute! Even dad loves her, he just won't admitted itthough! When no one is looking he will give her some kitty treats! It's a love/hate thing.

Why???

Why is it that boys just don't listen? This is what they call having some "safe fun". The boys wanted to play with their air soft guns, so we said o.k., just do it outside and were some protection. Seriously, this is the BEST they up with.... rididng goggles, a helmet, a hoodie, and inside the house.....o.k......that's boys for ya!!!

Huntington Beach

Now this was SO MUCH FUN! It was great to go to the beach once again after so many years! I'm a Cali. girl and we often went to these beaches and since I moved to the desert, I never found the time to go again, and I can't explain how great that was! This was the first time the kids have been in a beach were they can ride the waves and they could not get enough of it! I think we could easily turn into some beach bums for sure dude!

Disneyland 2009!

Our Disneyland trip was a huge sucess! We had a such a great time! The kids enjoyed 90% of the trip, minus the hot weather and long lines, they did so good. It was great to see Bill and how excited he was to see the kids have so much fun. Secretly, I really do believe Disney is magical! ;)
California Adv. was so much fun, can't believe I got on the 'sscreamer' It was fun riding with Jared, because I was freaking out! I was in a panick to get out of the ride before it even started, and I knew I could squeeze the heck out of Jared if it really came down to that. But it ended up being such a blast.
When it was over Bill admitted, it was the most fun he's had at Disney, and that in it self is huge! (coming from someone who doesn't do well in a crowed place).
